Who are we?
The Florence Civic Club is a cornerstone of community life in Florence, Montana, dedicated to fostering connection, recreation, and civic pride. Through their ongoing stewardship of Hideout Mountain Park and the Willow Springs Splash Pad, the Civic Club provides safe, engaging spaces for all ages. Children can enjoy slides, swings, wooden climbing structures, a tot-land area for younger visitors, and a seasonal splash pad perfect for summer play, while families and individuals of all ages can take part in volleyball games or skate on the winter ice rink, complete with over 60 pairs of skates, helmets, and hockey equipment available for public use.
Beyond recreation, the Civic Club plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the town. They care for park grounds and the ice rink, ensuring these spaces remain safe and inviting. They celebrate community achievements by hanging banners recognizing graduates and honoring local military service members. They host the beloved Harvest Stroll, organize blood drives, and maintain an emergency fund to provide support in times of need.
Through decades of dedication, the Florence Civic Club strengthens the social fabric of the town, creating shared experiences and fostering a spirit of generosity, pride, and community connection.
